I showered in the dark with no fan, and the floor was slick with condensation, resulting in a nasty fall that left me bruised. An unexpected leak in the hallway added to the chaos. Breakfast was absent since the power was still down when I left twelve hours later. I also faced issues with the pillows—they felt way too flimsy, like they had been stuffed with soft cardboard. While the coffee was decent, the breakfast selection included questionable food quality, particularly the white sausages that seemed straight out of the freezer without proper cooking or appearance.

I loved being just a short walk from Lions Park, a perfect place for a leisurely afternoon stroll, and I discovered some great eateries just around the corner like McAlister's Deli that really hit the spot after a long day of walking.
